Back to France
June 1, 2006
As sad as I was to leave Barcelona, I spent way too much money there, so it's a good thing we were moving on. On the bus ride to the French Riviera, we stopped at Aigues-Mortes, which is a cool little area with all sorts of shops, cafes and restaurants. I got a tomato and mozzarella baguette and a nutella crepe. I also got some crackers at a service station for the rest of the bus ride. We got to the camp site around 7:30, and found these cabins to be the epitome of "budget." It was plywood for walls, but all that really matters was we had a decent mattress and pillow, so we could at least sleep. It was mostly a travel day, so not much to write about. There was a small bar at the campsite, which most of the aussies seemed to enjoy until the early morning hours. Those aussies certainly can drink, but they have a great time no matter what it seems. I talked to Mike and Dave before I went to sleep, and then I passed out for a fabulous 8-hour nap.
