St. Patrick's Cathedral
Today we went to St. Patricks Cathedral.  We had plans to go yesterday but never found it, but we did today!  It was nice and had a park on the side.  Sadly there was an admission so we didn't tour it.  We then went on to St. Stephen's Green which is a big park with fountains and a waterfall.  The National Gallery was nice.  We did a cheap supermarket bought lunch before heading to Trader John's pub, north of the Liffy River.  Some random guy knew that Britney Spears was also from Louisiana.  Of all the random things, Britney Spears?  We also meet some other drunk dude, Connor Peirson Patrick Hall, who said "Voodoo, what you don't do, do do" and other random things.  He was rather odd.  We went on to St.

Mary's Pro Cathedral but couldn't tour because they were having mass at the time.  We went to the Garden of Rememberence which had a bizzare statue of birds carrying people's souls to heaven; I didn't really like it, I hate birds.  We ventured on to the Hugh Lane Gallery of Modern Art and were happy we did.  They had Monets, Manets, Reinours and Degas pieces.  We went out to a little Italian Restaurant for dinner  and then on to the Quay Pub.  We ended up staying out pretty late and drinking with some Danish people who taught us how to say things in Danish:  Beer Please ( ol talc), Hello (Goddag), Cheers (Skaal) and some other rather innappropriate phrases.  It was a fun and random night.  -Kate
