Carbisdale Castle

We stayed one night in a castle in the highlands of Scotland, it came with, of course, some spooky ghost stories. But I'm a total sucker for them so I was absolutely petrified the entire night! The castle came complete with a rather weird statue room full of white ladies, secret passages that led to suspicious winding underground tunnels (I'm sure they've been used for some foul purpose), and stern matrons who warned us not to make so much noise at midnight. All the trappings of a haunted castle!

Lots of fun staying there though, not only was the place cool, but it was set in a beautiful ultra-vivid forest, the air was crisp and fresh and you couldn't be happier being alive (as long as the ghosts don't get you).
