I visited my cousin, who lives in Caleta de Fuste and also traveled to Corralejo, Ajuy, La Pared, Cofete and a couple of other towns.

very windy

About an hour west on the coast Ajuy is situated at the Playa de los Muertes (Beach of the dead). The name of the beach results from times where Pirates set foot on land and killed lots of people who used to live there.

In Ajuy you can walk up some large rocks and see the sea from there. An advice I can give anyone who goes there: don't wear a dress, the wind likes to play with it :). There are caves to see and a trail to walk either 15 or 60 minutes. Unfortunately we only got time for the 15 minutes walk.

After we've seen Ajuy we went on to La Pared which is the most beautiful and peaceful beach I've ever seen. I liked it even more than Corralejo which I originally thought to be the most beautiful beach ever.
