I just got back from dinner with Jackie (my AD) and Danielle.

Danielle and I took Jackie out for dinner after the Nutcracker Ballet. Well...I successfully produced and directed my first play/ballet. We ended up going through the ballet twice because a lot of people showed up late. However, by the end of the second performance the audience was HUGE! All the girls looked incredible. I made them all wear black shorts and black shirts/tank tops. When they arrived Danielle and I glued their hair into high buns and put red lipstick on their lips. They looked like real ballerinas. It was exciting for both me and the children. The decorations were perfect, the dance was perfect, and the evening was just amazing. It was everything I had expected...plus more. I even was forced to Samoan Siva with the girls at the very very end.

2 months of rehearsals...
I only wish I had more time with the childre and that we could perform this again.

2 more days.
Samoa is almost over.
If I learned anything...its to ALWAYS wear sunscreen.
(my entire chest is peeling like a banana...its gross! - Customs probably won't let me through)
