The ascent of the Volcano Cotopaxi!

ANDREI - Just a little something to whet your apetites before a fuller account plus photos....

We climbed up part of the Volcano Cotopaxi today.  We went up to 4800 metres (the height of Mont Blanc) - the summit is at about 5800 metres - amd walked across a small glacier before descending again.  It was tiring but rewarding.  Nicola was close to exhaustion on the way up and Kerry was cold and miserable on the bike ride down!  But I loved the whole thing!  Recommended
