Galapagos: Isla Genovesa
April 11, 2006
KERRY - We sailed back into the Northern Hemisphere today for a brief period, as we visited Genovesa Island. This island was a haven for birdlife and we saw loads of Frigat birds and Nazca and Blue footed boobies nesting.
Later on in the morning we went snorkelling off of this island, and then in the afternoon, went on a hike on the Island and saw the Galapagos Owl - one of the only predators on this island.
We then got back on the boat and crossed the equator again to get back to Santa Cruz Island
