Galapagos: Isla Española
April 7, 2006
Isla Española: 7am start for a walk on the island. Steve, Greta, Stu and Phil (plus Cesar the dinghy pilot) all look surprisingly spritely.
Back to the boat for a superb breakfast (the food was excellent on this trip - Edin our chef was so good! We ate like kings all week!) and then off for the morning snorkel. I passed on this one as was feeling stuffed from breakfast, but Andrei and Nicola went.
In the afternoon we spent a few hours at another gorgeous beach called Garnder Bay. I tried to snorkel from here, but the water was not so clear so gave up in the end. The beach was full of sealions lazing around. Then it was time to get back on board and enjoy another fab dinner before an early bedtime.
