This morning we got on 50 West again headed to St. Louis. We decided to make up time by just traveling all day instead of trying to stop anywhere. There really wasn't much to see in the rest of Ohio. We crossed into Indiana and, again, there wasn't much to see. There really were nothing but corn fields for miles and miles. We were going to visit the state forrest but we decided not to when we found out that it was $10 to park. We just used the time to travel. We stopped at a Subway in the middle of Indiana somewhere and ate lunch.
We crossed into Illinois and didn't stop until we got to St. Louis. When we got into St. Louis we got gas and abandoned rout 50 for something faster. We were going to stop and take some pictures at the Gateway Arch but is was closed, so we kept going again. We got in the Interstate 70 West to Kansas City. We drove for about 2 hours and stopped at a TGI Friday's for dinner. We stopped at a Ozarkland for buy postcards and then didn't stop again until we were at a motel in Kansas City.
Along 70 through Missouri there are almost as many adult superstores as there are anti-abortion signs...gotta love free speech!
