4th of July

After we left Denver we ran into some traffic. It looked like someone's boat had come off the trailor and traffic was pretty backed up, so it took us some time to get out of the city. We got onto 25 North and headed through Cheyenne and towards Capser. The ride was much more scenic than the others so far. We started to see mesas and other rock formations the furthur we got into Wyoming. The sky here is awsome too. We got sort of concerned several times when we went through stormy areas that we were going to run into tornados again.
We got into Casper around 6 and checked into the Super 8 Motel. The best place we've stayed to far. We sort of wanted to save money so we had dinner at Pizza Hut next to the motel. We were also too tired to go to the place where the 4th of July party is, we are going to watch the fireworks in the parking lot...they'll be just as nice and we won't have to drive anywhere....so tired of driving. I guess we'll get up early tomorrow and see some of the old downtown area before we head off to Yellowstone.
