Last stop stateside....our hostel is in a great location just off Hollywood Blvd, where walk of fame etc. is. Very hot here as well!
Went downtown today to see some sights but being sunday many things were closed. The highlight of the day was Grand Central Market. This is pretty much a local place, lots of hispanics and chinese. It is so cheap to eat in the market so we stayed for lunch. We picked the busiest place, which was chinese. We sat on stools surrounded by locals and a had a Corona each (delicious in the hot weather!) and a huge plate of lo mein noodles. was totally stuffed but couldn't resist getting an icecream for $!! Total Bargain!
This evening we went to meet Buck and Stevens (2 of our guests from Courchevel) who were also in town. Had an awesome margarita, alright I had 2 and Jen had the biggest bottle of Corona I've ever seen...bigger than her head! Fun night.
Met up with Buck and Stevens again today to do some sightseeing together...we went in there black open top mustang...very cool...very LA baby! We went to Rodeo drive, full of beautiful shops and had a yummy champagne cocktail called 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. We helped Buck pick out some cool shades in Armani then headed back to catch our next flight...
