Day Four:

So on Sunday we got the train from Berlin to Munich, which was slightly more traumatic that we had first anticipated. It took us much longer to get up and eat breakfast, which was free from our hostel may i add, and we are after all students!!! Although after last nights pub crawl which we didnt get back to the hostel until about 4.30 in the morning, we were both slightly worse for wear!

What we hadnt anticipated was standing in a que for about half an hour waiting to get a reservation for the train to Munich. The train we had panned to get was full so it meant we had to wait for about another 2 hours until we could get a train down to Munich. So we sat around in the station, which looked just like an airport. It was huge! There were tons of shops and restaurants etc which were all on loads of different floors, although in our hungover states sitting was really the only option.

The train from Berlin to Munich took about 6 or so hours, most of which i slept for, you know me i have the ability to sleep on any piece of public transport!.

Once we got too Munich, the rain had finally stopped, we walked to our hostel which in the same chain as the one we had stayed in in Berlin, but was much bigger. We were on the fouth floor and with a heavy backpack it seemed like we had to climb a mountain to get to our room! Once we got settled we went to find a cash point, we walked for about ten minutes, in the wrong direction as i later found out!!

So we safely got to munich without too much trouble using our train passes for the first time!
