If you're travelling along the Trans-Canada, this is definitely a worthy stop. Located in the beautiful historic downtown area of Moose Jaw, the tunnels are an entertaining way to spend a couple hours. There are two tours to take: The Chicago Connection and Passage to Fortune. Both tours use costumed interpreters to guide you through the tour and help your immerse yourself in the time period.
The Chicago Connection brings you into the world of Al Capone and his bootleggers bringing alcohol into the states. The Passage to Fortune brings you to the time when Chinese immigrants were moving to the country and enduring harsh conditions in order to pay head taxes and support their families in China.
Both tours are a great experience and give a fun alternative to museums to learn the history.
