I bought a new sarong this trip. It's beautiful. I actually have used my other sarongs to death. They come in handy where ever I go. I read about there use from a backpackers website. It's so true. I use them for tableclothes on picnic benches, towels, robes, sheets, pillow.
I think I spent too much money on this trip. I wasn't planning on spending any, so oh well. I'm starting work on July 1st, so I'll try to sign up for overtime.
There is a light rain right now and the sound of it on the large palm leaves sounds wonderful. I'm sitting on the screened in porch waiting for my turn at the shower. It's humid but not too uncomfortable. There is a slight breeze, the birds are still chirping.
The other guests who are staying here are snoozing on the couch watching "Sweet Home Alabama." Jack needs to work on her jeep's alternator. He arrived back from working covered in oil and dirt. He works as a marine mechanic, and does quite well. I feel very lucky to be one of his friends, as he has a big heart and is wise. He's a life coach and tell's it like it is. We met online, I think it was match.com but even though the connection wasn't a "love match" it was a "caring match" and he has been a genuine friend.
Ah, my turn at the shower, as I will try to do something with this massive amount of hair that is uncontrollable in the humid weather. Really quiet scary!
