Ballyneety...Where I call home

Ballyneety is a small village 6 miles from Limerick city. Up until 1994 there was very little 'action' about the place, but then they decided to make it the location for Limerick County Golf Course . Since then the village has been built up with loads of new houses.
In the middle of the village there's a thatched cottage that used to be the local pub, The Stroller, which moved to a newer building a few metres across the street. The village has a courthouse-which isn't used for anything remotely law-concerning. And a grocery store, which sells just about everything you could possibly need (my sister works here).
Anyone interested in golf should definitely consider the golf course here. A lot of famous golfers come back, so I guess it's a good course. There is a b & b called Glengrove, half a km away, so it makes for a perfect weekend spot.
There are only 2 buses that leave the village to Limercity city daily. One at 8:30 am and another at 12:45 pm. The journey is about 15/20 minutes. This was our life-saver growing up, as Ballyneety doesn't have much in way of entertainment. But I still love going home...everyone knows everyone else, everyone helps everyone else...you dont find this in Italy!!
