Hi Everyone! It`s been a while, and i know you`ve missed me.

Now, where do i start?

Well, the other day, we headed down to Kyoto via the Shinkansen, or Bullet Train.  It goes about 250 miles an hour.  It was pretty cool seeing the outside transition from urban tokyo to rural kyoto. the newest city to the oldest city.  however, it was three hours, which sucked.  we went to kyoto for the Gion Festival.  Basically, it`s a month long festival in july where the japanese celebrate the lack of disease and famine and stuff like that.  There are different things everyday. The day we went, there was a parade.  There are 36 floats over a span of 4 hours.  Now, that was a little bit too much.  It was really hot, and the parade was slow, and we had to sit down the whole time.  But, the floats were beautiful.

After the festival, we headed over to the Golden Pavillion, which was awesome. We even saw some turtles swimming in the lake and they were cute.  It wasn`t so bad to leave kyoto because we`re going to be going back there in a couple days.
