Leaving my job teaching for a year, I am travelling around the globe...home just in time for Christmas.

Galavanting around Galway

It was so nice to have a relaxed day today.  I woke up in my cute little cottage by the sea (my hostel) and opened the sky light to hear the birds chirping.  Totally go to sleep in but couldn't since I have a cold/laringitis.  Nevertheless, it was awesome.  The countryside is just gorgeous in England.

Brice and Todd and I headed off to a pub to get some lunch and caught a bus to Galway, Ireland (also on the west coast of Ireland).  The road was VERY windy.  Highways are certainly different here....more like a walking path than a highway.

Galway is a nice little city.  Our hostel is right next to a big park and the train station so we can catch an EARLY train to Dublin to get our flight to Amsterdam.  We are not missing this one!
