Alexandria
May 6, 2007
On our last full day in the Middle East, we decided to head north to Alexandria. Start on the Mediterranean, end on the Mediterranean. So, we went back to the train station and caught one of the hourly trains to Alexandria. It's a large, beautiful seaside down, and the weather was perfect for our last day. Nice and clear, and not too hot. There aren't many sites in Alexandria, but we took the time to walk around and see the buildings, the library, and spend some time on the sea. We grabbed some lunch in a quaint little restaurant and got some fresh juice at a little place that specializes in that sort of thing. It was a pretty quiet day, but a nice way to end an amazing trip.
