Driving to Chico, CA
February 18, 2006
Optimistic to see my former UC Berkeley roommate and dear friend,
Suing, I left Berkeley around 6pm, which would give me enough time to
get to Chico before 9pm to eat dinner and party with fellow Chico
State-ers (Chico State University used to be the number 2 party school
in the United States a few years back).
It started to rain really hard when I left civilization and entered booney-ville on the 505-North. Ahead of me, a police car was driving at only 40 mph (it was 70mph zone) and had his swirling yellow lights on to prevent anyone from driving ahead of him. He finally slowed down and detoured me of the freeway at exit: Country Road 12a.
