This entry is really for anyone with experience traveling in Europe who wants to dish out some advice:

It's 2 months until I leave for Rome, but I've been thinking a lot about what to take - and since I'm a girl that's going to be more than what I really need I'm sure! I'm going to be spending September in Italy for sure, possibly parts of Spain and Greece, but in October and November I will be going north to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary until late November... even into December if I just can't come home yet.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for how to pack for this trip?

P.S. I'm a naturally colder person :)

Lighter is alway better. Find some fabrics that are airy and light (rome in september will be quite warm), november in central europe can be quite chilly so I'd also pack a few sweaters.. generally, grab travel sizes of most things (when you run out, you can pick up stuff along the way), target is great for that.. hmm pack the essentials and make sure you have a good book, but only one(maybe 2), you can typically trade it with people along the way.
