New crew arrive (Matt, Caroline and Laura) thank goodness, now I can get away from here! I knew that at some point I would have to wait somewhere and it could have been much worse but three and a half weeks in Cap d’Agde has to be enough for anyone. Their flight was delayed so just had time to take the boat out for a quick sail and quickly come back in again as it is blowing quite hard. Caroline is surprised to find how much the boat leans over in the wind but it is blowing at 25 knots.

Set sail eventually once the crew are up and make for Sete. Had a very leisurely sail and it was good to gat the boat sailing again. Everything seems OK after the mistreatment through the canal. Arrived Sete and a very kindly Frenchman guides us through mooring to a line tailed to the pontoon. Goodness knows what we would have made of it without his help. Go out that evening to watch jousting in the harbour. The whole of the town is taken over by one sort of band or another with the sounds often overlapping to create musical mayhem. Very entertaining but I think the young crew are rather shocked when I am ready for bed at 11pm.
