Making a summer long trek with my brother covering the Northern half of the Appalachian Trail - from Harper's Ferry, WV to Mt. Katadhin, ME. Estimated Dates: May 12th 2006 to August 13th 2006.

Day 42

I spent the first half of this morning "fishing".  Everyone that passed chuckeled because I was only using my hands.  We covered 10 miles to the road in short order, and it would have been univentful had it not been for the super duper - Kerry Strug - moss induced slide off a rock into the creek.

We got a ride into town from a Honda Truck.  Really nice guy who had just finished a short stint in the Whites.

The rest of the day was full of town stuff.  Getting a room, shopping, laundry, eating.  Dinner at the Sirloin Saloon was absolutely fantastic.  The right company can really make a meal.  I passed out crazy early, because sleeping in bed dows that to me pretty much automatically now.
