Hey Everyone,

This morning i crossed the border into Honduras, and into the city where im starting my dive job from on weds morning!! It doesn´t seem like a very nice city though but i havent really explored yet.  Tomorrow i have to go and try and find my diving equipment bag, it got shipped from london but held up at customs under suspicion of drug smuggling... will be interesting! if i have enough time then i´ll go see some Mayan ruins about 3 hours from here for mon night/tues morning...

So on friday morning i left early and caught a boat over to Livingstone.  The boat ride was incredible.  I felt like i was in Jurassic park or something, there were all these really high cliffs with jungle growing on them as we went down the river.  We also stopped of a random shop literally just built in the middle of the river.  After about 2hrs we docked in Livingstone and it was very different to the other places ive been in Guatemala.  For a start theres lots of descendents of black runaway slaves living there, so when your used to seeing just native Guatemalan indians and tourists, seeing black dudes with dreads that speak English but kinda singing it, takes a bit of getting used to!  So i had a bit of a chill out day on friday, just wondered around, ate some really nice fish and tried to get used to the extreme heat!!

On Sat i went on a tour to a waterfall which was beautiful- and  i could jump of the top into a pool of clean water!!!! which still hasnt lost its appeal! we also went on a canoe down a lake which was fun, and the guide excitedly showed us the weed plants growing by the side of the river...  In the evening i went out with 2 of the girls from the trip and we drank rum and coconut milk, out of coconuts!!!

So thats it! This morning was a bit of journey, involving crossing borders...  I´m not sure if im going to be able to update this again before weds morning.  If i dont then ´bye until aug 28th!!!  Ill be on my little island with no phone lines.  Happy Graduations and Birthdays and everything else im not going to be able to say until then.

Miss you all loads,
