I dont know if anyone is still reading this... i'm not so good at keeping it up to date!!

So i've been in new zealand for about 2 weeks now, and seen a fair chunk of the north island.  I started off in Auckland which wasn't that much of a city and left pretty quickly. First of all i went up north, to the bay islands and Cape Reigna where i met some really fun people and we got very drunk!! We also went sandboarding and dolphin swimming together.  Dolphin swimming was fantastic, i loved it so much, i got to within touching distance of  a dolphin!!  We had a bit of trauma, trying to replace all the items Gabi had stolen in a dodgy nightclub, but we got a new passport for her in time for her to go to Fiji. Woohoo!

Next i started heading south.. spent some time in smelly rotura - lots of sulphur from the thermal activity!! Went zorbing - rolling down the hill in a big plastic bubble - and chilled out in some hot spas.  Also saw my friend get a tattoo and lots of geysers.

Next it was on to Waitamo where we went black water rafting - floating inside  cave on a tube looking at glow worms. Muchos Fun!!!  And then on to Taupo..... Taupo is apparently the cheapest place in the world to do a skydive, so i took full advantage of that!! Check out my face book pics...

From there i headed out to the East cape which was a bit more chilled... we saw a lot more of maouri culture and stayed in farms and stuff. All good, we tried to be the first people in the world to see the sunrise but it was cloudy that day so didnt go so well.  Also did some surfing and i stood up on the board!! Woohoo!!

Then it was back to Taupo where i went on a very long hike and it almost killed me, i did see some incredible views though! but i fell over and ripped some trousers in the process...

The day after it was time for white water rafting which i loved, but i feel out of the raft on a rapid and that was a bit interesting!!

Now i'm in Wellington, trying to not use any adrealin and work out how much money i have left for the south island!! so not a bad way to spend 2 weeks!!

Miss everyone at home loads,

Love Jo xxx
