First sorry prob gonna have some mistakes in this cause i am using a very old and sticky keyboard and i cant spell!

Right so i left guatemala city as soon as i could as i didnt feel very safe, and got on a local bus to antigua.  That was so much more fun than english buses! The bus was an old american school bus painted up, and the driver was made.  There is also a conductor dude that jumps of the bus randomly and tries to force people on.  The driver doesnt really slow down to let him on/off.  WHen we got to a crazy steep bend i asked, in my best spaish, the guy sitting next door whether he was scared, and he said no and pointed to a sign that i think meant that the bus was trusted in gods hands... also when there were no more seats, people just budged u p so i ended up sitting with 2 others and a baby. that wouldnt happen on london transport! and this experience cost me 10op.

Righ im rambling on a bit here. Antgua is very nice, a lot safer than the city but there are loads of gringos here so im not sure its real guatemala.  I climbed an active volcano yesterday where hot lava rivers were flowing and - cover your ears mum - hot lava rocks were tumbling  down metres from us pretty amazing! Pics to follow. Then i went o the bar with my fellow trekkers and t was ladies night so cuba libres were 30 quetzals abou 20p!

Now feeling a bit  rough and abou to head to a  pretty lake.

Missing you all
