The Summary
The purpose of this trip was for me to run my first marathon. My husband is an avid runner who has run three previous marathons. I told him in November, 2006 I would like to try running one sometime in the future as an activity we could do together. Literally, the next day, he had me signed up to run in the April 15, 2007 Paris Marathon with him. We made a long weekend out of it, completed the 43.3 kilometer trek and attempted to explore Paris with very very sore legs.
