My project group with Pablo at Pan y Vino in Heredia for dinner.
After the bus from Kekoldi, we were back in Heredia once again. We were there for an evening and one night, before we headed out to the start of the adventure tour. We found the laundromat almost immediately and left our stuff while we met in the upstairs of Hotel America with the rest of the people who had all just come off their projects. There were 6 projects going on at the same time, so they were split up into 3 and 3. Our group of 11 gained two groups (the Gandoca Turtle group, and the Fincas Las Lapas group...the other bird group), making us a total of 36 or something like that. We found out that our tour leader was going to be Liza...and when we met Pin, we were glad Liza was going to be in charge of us for the next 2 weeks.

..haha. We got our itinerary for the next two weeks...found out we would be starting on the Pacific Coast with some snorkelling, and then making our way around Costa Rica, to end with the white water rafting on the Rio Pacuare. (The other 40 kids started with white water rafting and made their way to Ocotal in the Pacific.)

After the meeting we got our clean clothes, showered, changed and headed to Pan y Vino, a very good Italian restaurant. We told Pablo to meet us there at a certain time, and the 12 of us (all in clean clothes and after showering with hot water...something we hadn't done in 2 weeks) spent some time together and ate dinner and dessert and took some pictures. It was a nice way to end. A few of the other groups had the same idea, and the restaurant was pretty crowded with loud ISVers.
When dinner was done, some headed off to Boulevar for some drinks, and others went back to Hotel America to repack stuff and get ready for the next two weeks. I went to bed thinking, "Bring it on, Costa Rica!"
