On Arrival in to Paris, we soon realised we were slap bang in the middle of the afternoon traffic. Driving through a small road as a market was in full swing, hustling and bustling... I saw a french woman running around in her apron, screaming orders at people, running back and forth inbetween to stopped traffic, and the traffic was horrendous!

As we reached the metro, still on the same road it was getting busier and busier and people were getting closer and closer to the car, so I locked the doors and it was a good thing I did because reaching the traffic lights one of those ''car window cleaners''  came over to the car throwing a bucket of some kind of colourful water over the windows and shouting ''English, English, please ! Pretty people... English ... Please'' after Marks explanation of ''we have no change, no thankyou'' in French the man left solemnly.

Reaching the Mercure Opera Garnier  ... we checked in dropped our bags in the room, quickly freshened up and then went out to explore Paris ... Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe - where we sat across the road on a bench to marvel at its beauty and also to rest our legs.

Dinner at Le wilson.

Then back to the hotel for a quick drink in the bar ... Baileys <3 yum, then to get some rest as we had a verrry long drive ahead of us in the morning.
