Before I go...
I've done it at last....14,000 feet, 65 seconds freefall........Words cant describe this was amazing, I got picked up at 10 in the morning, Rachel came with me, got kitted out in the harness and up we go in a 1 seater plane, it must of taken about 20 mins to get up to 14,000 feet with a great view of Rainbow Beach, its called this because the cliffs are rainbow colour, the ocean and Fraser Island, funnily enough I wasnt nervous until he opened the door, there was a gush of cold air and then I realied how high up I was and that I was going to be chucking myself out.  I had to swing my legs out, then swing them over the wheel and before I had time to think, he'd launched us out and doing somersalts.
How small is that plane?
..now before we went I was warned that breathing can be difficult in the freefall and can be made easier by screaming....trust me I had no difficulty breathing, I screamed for the whole 65 seconds, what a buzz and I could feel all the skin on my face flapping, especially my ears, dont worry you will all get to see this first hand I am going to bore you with the DVD when I get home, though this bit I am sure you will have a laugh at.  Then the chute is pulled wasnt expecting the force in which you go back up, after that its a really cruisy trip down with fab views, then he taught me how to spin yourself around with the chute which was all great fun and then all to come and land on the beach....and I landed on my feet, no tumbles from me!   I was on a mega high all day, if you havent done it before, do it, bloody brilliant...just in case you havent guessed I enjoyed it!
