Me at the Pinnacles
Well up at 5.30 this morning as of on my trip to the North of Western Australia, was being picked up at 7 in central Perth, Barry gave me a lift in, there was 24 of us on the trip, of all nationalities, 1 South African, 2 Japanese, 1 american, 2 germans, 1 french, 3 scots, 3 english and the rest were German Swizz, loads of Swizz out here they all come here to learn english as they need a certain qualification to be able to get employment in Swtizerland. The 1st day was a really long slog, I really didnt appreciate that everything is just so far away, we had three stops along the way the first being Nambung National Park and the fascinating Pinnacles Desert, it was well into its 40's so a hot walk around there, the second stop was for lunch in the park, everyone mucks in to get everything set up so at least that got everyone talking which was good, then we stopped at some sand dunes for Sand Boarding, this was a bit disappointing, the boards were quite shit so you couldnt really get any speed up, then finally we made our way up to our first night in Kalbarri, so I had my first night in a hostel, this one was okay, we had dinner here and once again everyone mucks in as we only have 1 driver and its far too much for them to do on there own.  Sitting on your butt all day in a coach is tiring so we all had an early night.
