Rome in the Spring

My husband and I took this trip to return to our favorite city in the world and to get married. First we went to Rome, which was the first place we ever traveled to together, then we made our way down the coast to Positano, which is a magical little jewel along the Italian Riviera. Anyone considering a small European wedding should give serious consideration to Positano as the setting is spectacular and romantic and the people bend over backwards to welcome you. It was the trip of a lifetime.

Rome in the Spring

What could be better than going to Rome eating delicious food, seeing centuries old sights, and shopping in the most glamorous shops in the world?  Going back to do it again!  This was our second trip to Rome together and we spent 4 glorious days running around trying to see the sights we had already seen a year and a half ago but couldn't miss and trying to get our paperwork together for our wedding in Positano.  It was hectic, but we managed to get to the US embassy and get the appropriate authorization from U.S. officials to marry in Italy, see the Roman Colloseum, catch the Italian Open, and buy an espresso maker.
