Life in Sydney

Sydney is a really fun and enjoybale city to live and work in. Full of fantastic restaurants, great beaches, great bars with a friendly vibe, and really friendly natives! The last few weeks has been mainly spent working (in the MLC centre, which has stunning 360 degree views of the city and shoreline) during the day and hitting the town during the cold and breezy nights! The main hotspots have been, due to saving for future travels, The Gaff, Scruffy Murphy's, Star Bar, Scubar, Side Bar and more recently (Friday just past) The Vault. A great few nights was spents by all...unfortunately, I can't remember much of what went on, but it was good fun nonetheless!!
This coming Monday see us visiting one of the above bars again to chance our hand at Crab racing, the mind boggles at what lies in store with this little sporting extravaganza!! There is also the possibility of witnessing Cockroach racing, although I'm not too sure about that one really! I don't have a huge amount to report on at the moment because I'm not really in the 'traveller' mode due to working since Feb. All I can say is that I love Sydney and could quite easily live here permanently, but for the distance to that little green island surrounded by the English channel and the North & Irish seas! :-)
