Vancouver is a really beautiful city to visit.  This is one of my favorite cities in all of Canada. The Pacific Northwest will take your breath away because all of it's mountains, lakes, rivers and wide open spaces. Vancouver is a place that never sleeps, there is something always going on. Something’s to see and do in and around Vancouver: View the city from the Vancouver Lookout Tower, see Stanley Park, hike Lynn Canyon, walk across a swinging bridge, climb to the top of Grouse Mountain.

You can take in a Lumberjack show, see two Grizzly Bears on the top of the mountain. The cable car takes you up 3800 feet to the top, with a breath taking view of Vancouver. Seeing China town was really neat, just remember where you park your car. We had lunch there and got turned around trying to find our car. All the blocks look so much alike. Driving in the city wasn't to bad, although they are doing some major construction on some of there streets. The Winter Olympics are coming in 2010, so they are getting ahead start on improving there streets. The city rivals many of the great cities of Europe. Vancouver happens to be in my book of 100 top Great Cities of the World to visit.  Davie street is really cool, full of night clubs and different restaurants and very interesting people.
Take a guess!?!?
We did a dinner cruise from Vancouver, along the North shore, we got to see some billionaires homes along the way. Oprah Winfrey has a 26 million dollar home along the shore.  The cruise was alot of fun, we met some really cool people from Vancouver and Seattle.  Fred had me laughing most of the night, he is such a funny person.  Him and his wife Joy are both  from Seattle.  I spent my last night there, before coming home. Vancouver sets right next to the Coastal Mountains. There is snow on there peaks year around. What a change coming from florida, where it is so flat and hot for most of the year. Another trip that is worth taking is 2 hours north to Whistler, it will take you through some of the most beautiful part of British Columbia. Breath taking views everywhere, and mountains all the way, you may even see a bear or two. There is plenty of willd life to see, and hiking trails to explore. I think you all can see, that I'am an out doorsman, I love nature and the wide open spaces. Vancouver also has a huge cruise port called Canada Place, many cruises head out on there weekly voyage to Alaska.  It was neat to watch the cruise ships coming in to port. The province of British Columbia, is wild, untamed, stunning beauty, and one of the most incredible places I have visited. With Vancouver being the biggest city in the province, you are just minutes away to the mountains and the great outdoors! Vancouver is a neat city to visit and explore!
