Of all the things I saw and did in Dublin, this was by far my favorite. I don't want to get too into what was in the museum, but if you check out the website you can get a good idea. If you find history interesting this place is a must see. It is a little way off from most of the major sites, but not to far to walk from the #20 or #21 city bus tour stop.
I absolutly loved the history and story of the family that had occupied the house, and you really can get an idea what it would have been like to be alive in 1796. Really a great place to visit, I can't say enough about it.

This pub crawl starts every night in the front of Trinity College, rain or shine in the spring and summer months. It was so much fun I went 2 nights in a row!
The cost is 9 euros your first time, and 5 euros for return customers. You get the guided pub crawl to 3-5 bars a couple shots a certian bars along the way, and entrance into s club on some nights...
For someone travelling alone this is great because it gives you instant drinking buddies!

This hostel was pretty good...they had origionally lost my online reservation, but were able to get me a room anyway (I think in the exact place I would have been anyway). The staff came with great reviews, but I wasn't overly impressed...I would say about average, and one girl was selectivly helpful...when she wanted to be.
The beds were pretty comfy, linen was included and a big fluffy blanket. The biggest issues, one I was on the 6th floor...and there was no elevator...that was fun!
The other issue was in the morning there was no water...not just a lack of pressure, but for minutes on end...while showering...I lost all water, so I just had to stand there and wait, which was kind of sucky. When it did come on the first few minutes were scaulding hot...too hot for me, so I had to wait even more.
Security is good here, after a certian time no one but guests allowed inside...not even to pee as my friend found out!
They had free, but slow internet...and the lobby was a busy place during the day, people hanging out, playing the guitar and singing...quite lively!
