Just celebrated Deo's birthday, it was so much fun! We had a pirate party: the pinata was almost as tall as I was! When you take a cab here, each person pays: when I went to pick it up, I had to pay for 2 seats, because he took up so much room. Didn't have the heart to break him, so we skipped the pinata hitting (to Deo's disappointment), so they can keep their pal a little while longer. Had a big shallow bucket of sand that I buried plastic coins in so they could hunt for pirate treasure, then we made some necklaces out of fruitloops. Pizza for dinner, and cake was made like a treasure chest, filled with chocolate coins that grandma and grandpa brought down. Unfortunately, the guys were busy working under the house, so we couldn't go down there to the paved part, we just stayed out on the deck.
Grandma and grandpa have decided to stay down tonight too- they go to bed so early, they're asleep by 8, just like the boys! So much for some adult company :) Nobody's up to talk to while I bake.
so tomorrow they'll go back up to the resort and take Deo for a sleepover for two nights, and then Auri and I will go up and visit for the day. And my birthday is coming up Sat, so they'll be here to celebrate that too.
Still doing our morning baking run, although I leave it on consignment at a few places (give them a percentage of all they sell, collect what they don't the next day, usually not too many leftovers), which makes it much easier.
The weather is sunny and beautiful. We spent Sunday up at Fantasy Island (my parents resort), which was great. Got to work on my tan, and the boys had so much fun in the ocean and in the pool.
