Visit Madeira....it's incredible!

After traveling to many islands and beaches across the world, Madeira Island is by far the most unique place I have been. Although there are not white sandy beaches, it is a place that is truly amazing to visit. Madeira Island is known as a pirate hub where rich wine merchants lived. This is not such a far stretch from the Madeira today. Most of the visiters to Madeira are older couples, looking to escape the hustle and bustle of typical island cities of Europe. With that said, being a 21 year old, I was still able to have a great time. Every hotel comes with a 5 star view from your balcony overlooking the blue ocean, the people are friendly, the wine is good, and I still don't understand how they built roads hanging off the side of cliffs. Oh, and one more thing, if you like constant 72 degree weather and sunshine year round, this is the place for you.
