W. B. Yeats' resting place

After checking out the waterfall he made famous, we went to see W. B. Yeats' grave site.  It's in a small cemetary in the area known as Drumcliff.   After spending some time at the cemetary, we headed up the road to Standhill, where we stopped and had lunch.  The weather was rainy at this time, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the Atlantic Ocean.  As we drove toward Galway, the rain clouds went away and the sun came out.  We were in good spirits and decided to stop at the ruins of an old church on the side of the road.  Only in Europe can you find something hundreds of years old just sitting there, waiting to be explored!  We did just that - wandering around the church and checking out the gravestones that were in the floor!
