Bruges
August 1, 2005
I caught a train in the morning to Bruges, just to see what the city was all about. There wasn't much more that I wanted to see in Brussels, so I decided to spend my time elsewhere. After I got off the train and headed into Bruges, I was taken back by how beautiful the town was. It just oozed old world charm. I pretty much just spent the day wandering around town, checking out the different sites. There was nothing that was on my "must see" list, so I just wandered at my own pace until I decided I had seen enough. One of the highlights was a church that claims to have some of the blood of Christ. I didn't see any blood on display, though. Check out the photos, I hope they speak for themselves.
