Yes, Wroclaw!

Yes, Wroclaw!!! Why Wroclaw? I don't know exactly, but we wanted to pass in Poland and Wroclaw was on the way. We didn't want to visit a classic touristic place, but something of more...polish! And Wroclaw was perfect!

Our entrance in Poland was terrifying! Just passed the border with Germany, the road started to be bumby. Never seen something like that!!!!! I wonder how is possible that in 2010, in a european country on an important road you can find bumps every two meters. And it was for around 180 kilometers!!! I felt the car suffering. And my ass too!!! A nightmare!!! But the nightmare become worst! Yes because the car was exausted to jump and advised me lighting all the alerts indicators.

SRS out! ABS out! ESP out! Hill Control out! And, most dramatic "Engine demaged, contact assistance"! I asked to die!!! The engine started to work part time, so I couldn't drive faster than 80 Km/h. I really didn't know which kind of problem the car has, but we were in the middle of nothing, on sunday august 15, and the next city was exactly Wroclaw; 100 Km! Please, please let me die!!!

In someway we arrived to the Hotel after two hours of torture! It was enough to let us feel happy. I was sure of an imminent explosion on the way!!! So we decided to care about the car the day after. Was time to discover Wroclaw. The walk to the center, five minute from the Hotel Dikul (check the review) was blessed by drizzle, but was pleasant. The way to the main square, Rynek (Market Square), is a cluster of old buildings and old roads crossed by old trams.

Except for the new, rebuilt, Renoma Shopping Center, I think that everything is like 40 years ago. Interesting!

Market Square is a pearl!!! Very big (one of the largest in Europe), colorful, whit several buildings and the in the middle! And lot, lot, lot of nice restaurants, pubs, bars and just one souvenir shop!!!! Lovely place!! Because we decided to stay at least for a couple of days, if the car allows, we tried several of that restaurants and bars. Only positive reviews!!!! Good cuisine, excellent enviroment and people are very cheerful and welcoming!!!!

Monday morning we went to the assistance to fix, or try to fix the car! Oh my God!!! Nobody speaks english!!!! Like a monkey I try explain what happens the day before, but, at the end I surrendered and put the key in the hand of the mechanical! Now is ok! He went out the try the car! I was so so so nervous! He came back.

....I understood that he needs around three hours to fix! Yes yes, but, please, fix that damn car!!! And he did, or it seems so! He said there was water in the injectors, but now is clean!!! Great!!!! 80 euros and thank you!!!

After this experience me and Tacho decided to spend the rest of the day simply lounging in some bar; and that's was wonderful. We deserved! There's not so much to visit in Wroclaw, but that square is the right place to feel free to wasting time!!! Superb! Sun, beer, nice people around and nothing to do! What else?

The day after, around 9:00, we left the hotel ready for a new destination! It was great to rest in Wroclaw! Just when we are passing FIAT assistance and we look at as a bad memory......the car begun to have the same problem!!! Again!!!!! Kill me, please! I drove back and went in the garage screaming, in italian.

They seems very surprised and mortified, but I'm a merciless fury! They took the car silently! When the came back they said that now is really fixed. I never know what the did, but I didn't had more problem. In this trip at least. Yes because the day after I came back to Italy the car was broken again..... Nothing to do with water in injector, if you want to know!!!!

Anyway, with the fear that  can happen again, we left for new destinations!
