Flew into Sydney on 3/12/05 on a Years Working Holiday Visa, where I travelled the whole East Coast of Australia in a Campervan with Two Top Guys from N'Ireland. Finished off our Trip working in a Gold Mine in Meekatharra, WA where we made mega bucks, we broke even at the end of our trip. From here, we flew out to Bangkok to start a South East Asia experience.

Holden Drag Car in a Tractor Show! Townsville, Queensland, Australia.

Hi, from our trip to the Whitsundays we made our way up to Cairns and passed through Townsville first. On our way in we passed a Tractor show. It was free entry so we went in to have a look. Nearly everyone there was wearing cowboy hats, we felt really out of place, lol. We had a little walk round and they were demonstrating a Holden Drag Car, i've never heard so much noise from a car ever, i had to put my fingers in my ears and the dirver was'nt even blipping the throttle.

After this we drove to a nearby Campsite and looked to see if there where any potential jobs. In the end we gave up because the labouring jobs required you to stay for a 6 month period and we dont have that long left.

The next Morning we headed on towards Cairns to try and find more work and where we would be doing our main activities.
