Rockhampton

Hey, From Fraser Island we made our way towards Airlie Beach (Gateway
To The Whitsundays). We only had 2 days to get there too which meant we
would be doing a lot of driving, we were told by fellow backpackers
this was a 12 hour journey. We took it in shifts for the driving.
Halfway we stopped off at Rockhampton, people call it 'Rocky' known for
having the best steaks in Australia.
We decided to have a beer and a steak in one of the Irish Bars there. Was the biggest steak i have ever had plus it only cost $6.
After that we had a walk around the City. We couldn't believe how quiet it was for a Friday Night, it was like a Ghost Town. After half an hour we decided to head on and do a bit more driving, as much as we could before it got too late. It got to about 11pm so we stopped off at a layby and stayed there for the night.
