After breakfast we did the checkout and left Egilstadir to look for Reindeers. We've seen on the local map an animal farm marked with a Reindeer. Big fail, as we were there, we just found a Farm with zero Rendeers.

Next stop was Detifoss. The Ringroad was good to drive. But as we turned right on a gravel road to Detifoss there was a Roadsign "Bad Gravel Road". The next 30 kilometers were so damn shaky and so horrible, never want to drive this road again with a VW Polo. Directly in front of us was also a normal car, his frontweehl suddenly had a blow out. Possibly causing the sharp lava stones. After an hour (it feelt like it was 5) we were there, had a walk to the nearby Hafragilsfoss. As we were back, the clouds went away and we had a great view to Detifoss and Selfoss. I also met my workmate on the parking - his motorhome wasn't to ignore, so big. :)
His familiy told us that they had a few great days in the north. We were getting hopefull to see the sun again.

We continued the trip via Asbyrgi, circled around Tjörnes have seen our first Puffin there. Passing Husavik we were glad to arrive in Akkureyri in the evening. What a long day again. Must be the longest distance we've driven on one day. I was a littlebit disappointed not having time to enjoy the caves near Asbyrgi, but we just havn't had any spare time.
