Today, on the way to Egilstadir, we passed Djupivogur. Nice little town, it's main attraction are the birds. We didn't see much because of the rain. After a delicious Cappuchino in the nice Hotel Framtid (http://www.simnet.is/framtid/eindex.htm) and a short and refreshing walk we moved along. We used the Ringroad to Egilstadir. Passing the Breidalsheidi the fog was becomming stronger and stronger. I was glad, there was a car in front of us, so I haven't to search the road. Visibility range was about 5 to 10m, driving speed approximately 30km/h.

Arrived in Egilstadir we had a doubleroom with shared facilities in Gistiheimilid Eyvindara (http://www.eyvindara.is) and the Owner also asked us to join the BBQ in the evening. For sure, it was a great way to enjoy icelandic food - and it was great (Fishsoup, grilled Lamb, Skyr cake).

After the Dinner we just made a short walk to a hill nearby. It was a long distance we did for today.

Conclusion of strange things:
- In the south part, sheeps are everywhere, including the road and especialy in front of bridges.
- Take a coffie between 9.00 and 10.00 seems to be totaly unpopular. They also havnt got croissons to eath with.
- You always have to pay your consumation in the restaurant on the desk.
- 200km to drive is a short distance (!?!)
- Birds are everywhere an attraction, even if they are everywhere.
- Buying Alcohol is only possible in Vinbudin, the only authorized sellingpoint for alcohol.
- Every Farm has it's own roadsign, two or more houses are already marked as a village on the map.
