Today we woke up early again causing our Glacier Hike Trip in Skaftafell ( / Glacier Explorer - Glacier Hiking Day Trip). Two hours of driving, a crash with a bird and a few sheeps later we arrived in Skafafell. We didn\\\'t saw much from the landscape between Vik and Skaftafell because there was just Nomansland. At 8.45 a.m. we arrived in Skaftafell. What a stressfull ride! Our Group contained a Guide from US of A, a few Belgians and a stupid french family.

The Glacier Hike was awesome. We had a great view up to the upper part of the glacier (Fjallsjökull), saw a few glaciermoulons, a glaciercave and all the stuff on a glacier. It was an easy glacier for beginners but Impressive like a big one. A short walk to Svartifoss completed the trip in the Skaftafell region, then we were on the way to the Glacierlagoon(s). Breidarlon and Jokulsarlon are two totaly awsome and different Lagoons. It\\\'s a special atmosphere there, everyone is totaly quied and enjoies the view and the nature. We saw a few Birds and two Seals. Wildlife pure!

Our Guesthouse was a Room in a Farmerhouse. A lovely surrounding and also totaly quiet, it\\\'s 3.5 km off the Ringroad. For dinner we decided to go to Kaffi Hornid. For 5000 ISK (40 CHF) you get Lobster with Salad. It was so tasty - never had Lobster before. The restaurant is also in a totaly wooden and cosy icelandic style. After the meal we were ready to sleep.
