So first thing I noticed is that as I was driving to work at 400am...I went through a road block...the policeman asking me if I had been drinking. Ermmmmm no office I am just on my way to work.
So there I am at work...and at 530am...a police office comes up to me and asked when the first bus is going to arrive from Vancouver? I said not until 930am...he said oh good...as the streets are all going to be blocked up for the cars to come in. I am blinking...Ya know that deer look...going cars? What kind of cars? He says the little deuce coups! I am going did I bring my camera.
So many people already!
By 600am...I could hear rumblings...and saw many cars drive right by me...Oooooo how I love the rumble of an engine...it was awesome.
1000am my lunch I have 15 minutes...Out I go, camera in hand...and as a result some photos of these cools cars. The days was beautiful..hot by 1000 already....I could hear all the old rock and roll blaring away...hundreds of people...and I had only 15 minutes to shoot what I could before I had to go back to work.
A little history.
So in July Victoria host Deuce days...focusing on the legendary 1932 Ford, Deuce, including vintages up to 1951. There are now more registered 32 Fords in California alone than all those produced by Henry Ford in 1932. That vintage has been popular because of the introduction of the V-8 engine.
So come along for the ride!!!!
