Welcome to the camp

Off we went to the so-called 'Wildniscamp am Falkenstein' which is a pretty cool holiday camp mostly for school classes but also for families.

Actually, we had only planned an excursion to the Bavarian Forest but when we arrived at the camp we felt this international and intercultural spirit which is caused by the camp's concept straight away.

There're huts available from all different countries in which the guests are supposed to stay. So it's easy to hop from Siberia to Venezuela or from Ecuador to Benin. Definitely a great way to get to know different traditions of living since the huts are constructed like the ones in the native countries and the cooking areas are also kept as original as possible. ... And, of course, when we had our lunch break we had to try the South American hammocks and comfy little African armchairs.

Back to Bavaria! In the evening we enjoyed a delicious and very rollicking barbecue over the open fire at our ranger's place!
