Bless this day for on this day the Lord created Beaches
And on the 7th day the Lord rested. He put his feet up sighed a contented sigh, and sparked up a big fat dooby. For the Lord had just created beaches. So here I am surveying one of his greatest creations, Montezuma beach in southern Guanacaste. This place is as close to heaven as you'll get- white sand, palm trees, and beach front bars. We got here from Tamarindo yesterday, not much to tell about Tamarindo it was a bit of a trashy tourist dump actually, too expensive, nice beach but everything else just ruined it. So we were just in the tourist office yesterday enquiring about the shuttle to Montezuma and he said there was one going in 15 minutes. It didn't take much deciding and we were away. The journey was 5 hours of bone crunching roads and it didn't help that I was suffering from some serious sunburn and every time we went over a bump I felt it in every part of my body. So we arrived about 6pm and checked in showered changed and hit the town. We went for Sangria and pasta in a beach front restaurant and then hit a bar with some seriously good salsa music going on. I salsa'd my ass off (very badly) which was so much fun. I stomped all over Anna's feet but it was such a laugh. We had a few drinks then headed back to the hostel and got co-zy
Today we went to book our scuba trip to Isla La Tortuga tomorrow, I'm pretty excited about that. We have 2 dives with a bbq lunch on the beach in between. It's what I've been waiting for this whole trip so I can't wait for tomorrow. Today we're going to check out the Montezuma falls, it's a bit of a hike and it's hot out (35 degrees at least) but you can swim at the end of it so it'll be a fun day.
I don't know how long we are staying here but I could spend a long time. Next we are getting a taxi boat to Jaco on the central Pacific coast and working our way down to Quepos where we head towards
