It was nice friday afternoon when i started packing and moved to the south of Thailand from Bangkok. It was busy in Bangkok and a little escape to the south was a perfect idea. It was a two hours drive getting to Pranburi. It was a cool view and sightseeing was the main game. The sun was not fully out and it had a rain as well. But the whole trip it was warm and a little humid. It was rainy season in south east. We dropped off to some 7/11 along our way to fix and relaxed ourselves and take a few gasoline. The scenery here was different comparing to the south. It's quit modern and commercialized. We passed by Hua hin which is one of the main city of the south. It is known to be the king place.
i quote from a website" "Hua Hin is unlike most other beach resorts in Thailand. If you are looking for bright lights and frantic all night action you will be disappointed there. It is very much a family holiday resort area with good shopping and multi-national restaurants including, of course, the best Thai seafood the country has to offer. Idweal Thailand summer holiday beach destination."
but we choose to go farther down to Pran buri
close to hua hin but outside to the people around.... i preferred a more quiet place. Baan had Pran was our hotel. budget and localized service... Perfect!
