I left Sarajevo in a big rush as I was still in the city centre buying some last minute souvenirs and some delicious burek for the road. So with 15 minutes before the train departure I was lookin for a cab to take me at the station when luckily a tram that was goin to the train station stopped by so I hopped on and arrived in time for departure.
On the train platform there was a television crew probably making some material about the newly opened line between Sarajevo and Belgrade and they were filming the train. So if anyone happened to see the footage, the guy running like a madman to hop on the train in the last moment was me.
Back in Belgrade I strayed at Hostel Central Station, something usual by now. I met for me when in the Serbian capital. I met with Sanja and Olga and went out for some drinks with some their friends and we had a great time. Cheers for everything!
Did a bit of shopping also, hopped in the train and next morning I was back home.
Tip on drinks: It’s called Gorki List or Pelinkovac - a dark bitter liqeuor made from wormwood. Ad some water and squeeze some lemon/lime in it. I just fell in love with it even thou I’m not into liquers. Anyways, if you like bitter drinks then this is the thing to try. Get a bottle, I sure did.
