After a nice breakfast where I talked a lot with Iannis the owner and a Miriam (another guest from the Netherlands) I took the resolution to walk to the other side of the island to visit the monastery of the Taxiarques. Iannis had advised me that there was only a single monk their and that he only open the building to visitor from 11 AM to 13 AM, so I had to hurry. I only realized there that I had socks but I had forgotten my only socks and hiking shoes... the more appropriate shoes I had where fancy sandals. I decided to go anyway, this was the first decision of the day.

After a marvelous walk on the top of the island I saw bellow the path on which I should be. Instead of going back I thought I could cut in the heath and join the path.
when I realized I was on the wrong path and I had to come down to the road.
This was the second stupid decision of the day. The heath was full of stones and prickly bushes. As I was crossing it I had to focus really hard not to fall. Falling is bad everywhere but I was in the middle of nowhere and there is only one doctor and no X-ray machine on the island. But I didn't fell and manage to go back to the road around 11:30  AM. I hurried to the monastery but after 1 hour of walk in a strong sun  and prickles all over my feet I was still to far from Taxiarques to make it in time. I gave up this stupid attempt in Kalitsos and call a taxi to get back to the Hotel.

There was a bus stop there because of the school-bus, but there is no bus on the island except for July and August. The driver was nice and told us about the island's history during the ride.

Well I say us because taxi are allowed to pick as much customer up as they want but all of them pay the full price, so I was sharing my cab with a Greek tourist staying at the same hotel as me.

After I little rest I decided to spend the afternoon quietly on the beach and at night went out with my  hotel neighbors, Nitta, Savjia and Myriam. It was fun spending the evening talking nuts and drinking Ouzo with these mature women.  After dinner Savjia and I decided to go for a drink in a music bar which was at first completely empty but then the 3 other young people of the island went too and we danced for a while until we got tired and decided to head back to bed. Since Livadika is a small place we met a few people on the way back. Then Savjia decided to call her boyfriend in Dubai in the middle of the night and Antonis the waiter invited me to talk on the beach. I went and we really talked, I went to bed when he offers me to make a tour of the island on his motorbike. My conclusion over this is that it is really easy to get a one night stand on this island.  Too bad I wasn't interested.
